This eight-day project, including shop time for spraying cabinet doors, resulted in a flawless, factory-like finish that exceeded the homeowners’ expectations.

Background/Story:
The homeowners, a husband and wife, had been following our work and were impressed by our previous cabinet painting projects. They loved the idea of a soft, clean contrast between upper and lower cabinets but wanted professional craftsmanship to ensure a durable and smooth finish.
After seeing the quality of our past work, they chose Powers Painting & Decorating to bring their vision to life.
Scope of Services

This full kitchen cabinet painting project (excluding the island) included:
- Surface Prep: Cleaned, sanded, and primed all cabinets for a smooth, long-lasting finish.
- Painting Process:
- Upper Cabinets: Sprayed in Shoji White (SW 7042) for a light, airy feel.
- Lower Cabinets: Sprayed in Dorian Gray (SW 7017) for contrast and depth.
- Shop Spraying: Cabinet doors were removed and professionally sprayed in our shop using ILVA 30 2K, ensuring a factory-quality finish.
- Final Detailing: Reinstalled doors, made final touch-ups, and ensured seamless results.
Results:
The transformation was incredible! The two-tone cabinet color scheme gave the kitchen a modern and refreshed look, enhancing both brightness and sophistication.
